Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, with responsibility for providing technical support in relation to various aspects of risk and compliance as directed by the CRO, to ensure that the Group conducts business in compliance with ethical business practices, company policies and legal requirements.
Key Duties
Prepares and maintains Risk & Compliance documents and MI. Provides an MI Lead within the Risk & Compliance division, with focus on preparing and publishing reports along with MI for relevant stakeholders e.g. Group Risk Committee
Collate and interpret information/documents from Teams within Risk & Compliance and order these for review by the CRO or for use in meetings where Risk & Compliance is to be an Agenda item.
Provide support and assistance to Teams within the Risk & Compliance division as required.
Preparation and presentation of monthly and quarterly MI
Provides support as required to the CRO
Monitor and develop procedures regarding Risk & Compliance, liaising with appropriate Teams where necessary.
Builds and maintain good relationships with Exco members and senior management in relation to any Risk matters
Deputise for the CRO at meetings as appropriate
Pass and maintain the requirements of the Relevant Regulator’s ‘fit and proper test’ as required by the Certification Regime.
Adhere to the Individual Conduct Rules as part of the Certification Regime as detailed below.
Be responsible for taking ownership and maintaining own Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Log as part of the Certification Regime.

An experienced financial services professional preferably with a background in Risk & Compliance
An understanding of the FCA/PRA (previously FSA) regulations and risks
Strong written communication skills with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels
Analytical skills/ability to interpret data
